ST Fear: “Hymn Beneath The Palisades”

It’s going to be a relatively light next week and a half of posting on my end. Mid-review is right around the corner and my two towers scheme must be realized. Until then it’s all sporadic late-night musings on awesomely epic tracks for me. I posted a couple songs by the Early Day Miners this time last year, which seemed to go over well, so here’s part deux . Listening to this one is like climbing a mountain while something sinister is watching you: it’s intense and generally pretty grueling but the payoff is worth it because you eventually save Middle-earth, marry Rosie, serve seven consecutive terms as Mayor of the Shire, and still get to sail to the undying lands. Well played Samwise, well played.

  1. Love the sustained Middle Earth conceit. Way to finish strong, dude. Remember playing that game of LOtR Risk on the removed closet door, which then stayed, all but impassable, in the center of the room for the remainder of our time at SQ? You can’t help but wonder where that door is today. Probably back on the closet.

  2. Haha, I forgot about that. It was probably the last time that game was used. I must find it.
