The legends are pretty accurate — great selection, relatively low prices on regular albums, and a massive discount bin. Amoeba Find #1: The Electronic Anthology Project of Built To Spill

The Electronic Anthology Project is Built To Spill bassist Brett Nelson’s side project where he covers various 90’s indie artists in an 80’s electro-pop style. I know, 80’s electro-pop covers of Built To Spill? Auto-awesome. Check out his cover of “Get A Life” off Built Spill’s 1993 debut Ultimate Alternative Waivers above. Bonus news: he has a new set of recordings with J Mascis/Dinosaur Jr that is set to come out in April.
