I too am ensnared in the seemingly never-ending dead marsh that is architecture studio. However, it’s tough for me to justify dressing up like a hobbit and flipping everyone the bird, seeing as I’m actually paying to put myself through this… It seems that a self-initiated hell requires a different kind of motivation. For me, that has come in the form of all things Mark Kozelek: Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon, solo, etc. The guy is simply prolific.
