I was gifted this album Mountain Rescue by Salon Kingsadore awhile back. I’ll be honest, I’m not the best person to buy music for. I’m a snob. I appreciate the gesture, but the odds of me really loving the music are quite slim. Especially if as I’m opening the disc, you say “I’ve never heard of this band or the album before, but I really liked the cover”… And yet, Mountain Rescue has been a pleasant surprise–breezy, instrumental, jazzy, natives of LOTR country, and the cover!
