Continuing with the Amoeba show-and-tell, Charm of the Highway Strip (1994) by The Magnetic Fields was one of my few $2+ purchases. Totally worth it for the semi-retro, semi-80’s pop, semi-90’s indie pop, late night vibe. I just can’t believe this one is from 1994 — pre-Postal Service and everything (sarcastic exclamation point).
