The Surprise Attack is classic Mogwai. They build you up with a soft repetitive number and then hit you in the face with a wall of sound that you feel just as much as you hear. The problem is when? You know the barrage is coming but is it after this measure or the next…it has to be the next one… The trick here is to just play their game: expect it after every measure. With each passing bar, the tension will build. It’ll be stressful, but do not worry, the drop-rate from the Mogwai is high and hey, those shoulders will look really cool on you.
