Here’s an 8+ minute track that doesn’t really follow the “build and then fall” rubric set by many post-rockers like Mogwai or GYBE. Without the drama of a continuously building melody, Panda Bear utilizes some pretty incredible layering of melodies and textures that easily keep my attention over the length of the track.
