Going to deviate from my Amoeba series for a second to post a track from The Monitor (2010) by Titus Andronicus. I picked this one up last April and was honestly indifferent upon first listen. But I must say, I’m really digging it this time around. Who knew raucous, Civil War themed, rock songs could be so enjoyable? The track above is a little less rowdy than the rest of the album but I just can’t resist the guy singer + girl singer + piano combo. Shades of BSS.
